We are pleased to inform you that the Notification No GSR 491 (E) has been deferred for five months i.e. till 20th October -2008 (vide Corrigendum Notification No –GSR 383 (E) Dated 06-05-2008, Copy attached with this mail).

To remove difficulties apprehended by the Industry a fresh Draft Notification No GSR 380 (E) dated 15th May 2008 has been issued by the Govt. giving a time frame of six months from the date of issue of this Draft on 15th May 2008 for comments from the Industry. Copy Attached

Members are requested to kindly go through the Draft Notification for valuable your inputs/ comments for taking up the matter with the Govt.suitably.
