(a) Corporate Member: Members Covered under 5(i), (ii) and (iii) and belongs to large scale category of membership may become Corporate members by paying twenty times the membership fees or Rs. Two Lakhs only whichever is more.
(b) Life membership with one time fee of 10 times in the relevant category fee application to be paid in lump-sum.
Classification of Members:
(1) Ordinary Members being those:
(i) Engaged in the manufacture, marketing and or export of processed food products. (ii) Producers and suppliers of Agro-based raw materials required for Food processing. (iii) Manufacturers and suppliers of packaging materials or food ingredients or Food additives for the Food Processing Industry.
(2) Associate Members: being those firms who are directly or indirectly interested in the food processing and packaging industry but not being eligible to be enrolled as ordinary members.
(3) Individual Members: being those individual who by themselves are neither manufacturers nor traders nor growers and not eligible to be enrolled as ordinary and associate members as per sub clause (a) & (b) above but are interested in the Food Processing and packaging industry. Individuals working for those firms who are eligible to be covered by sub-clause (a) & (b) cannot become individual members unless their firm is also a member of the Association.
(4) Affiliated Members: being those organisations, association or institutions interested in food processing and packaging industry but who by themselves are not manufacturers, or traders, or growers.
